This provides our junior staff with the chance to obtain a degree in Quantity Surveying. Our schemes currently have 8 participants, with the smaller group size allowing for a more tailored, individual experience. We provide the opportunity for one day per week at either university or via distance learning. Either way, our trainees receive outstanding support and assistance from our staff.
We recognise that obtaining a Chartership is an important stage in a Quantity Surveyor’s career and we actively encourage and support our APC candidates. We have staff from both PQS and contracting backgrounds, a dispute and forensic expert team and a number of APC assessors who guide candidates through a detailed training programme that includes one-to-one sessions and mock assessments.
Our School of Excellence Forensic Expert Witness (FEW) Programme has been created to develop our FEW team. Workshops run by external professionals provide invaluable advice to help gain or improve the skills required to be an Expert Witness, including expert report writing, court room skills, cross examination, and civil law and procedures.
